4th of July

We opted out of fireworks this year, Audrey still seems too young.  On the other hand it feels like she is teetering on the edge, so maybe next year.  Doug's parents are out of town for two weeks, so we went over to my Grandma L.'s house and celebrated with my sister, her family and my parents with some yummy barbecue.  It was a super hot day, but Audrey didn't seem phased {she trudges on, which in turn, makes me trudge on too}.  She's good for me.  We spent part of the morning at our local Splash-pad in St. Anthony...Audrey enjoyed the puddles more than the actual fountains of squirting water.  :-)
