Nana & Bubba's House
Wow. What a great couple of days. As the way it usually goes, I worried way too much about how things would go. Audrey was phenomenal on the way down to my parents' house (just over 2 hours) and then back up to the city. She slept some, played some, and talked some. Even when she was late getting her bottle and lunch she was happy-go-lucky. What a trooper!
The first day at my parents' house Audrey was a little late in going down for an afternoon nap, but she finally settled down in her pack'n'play (which she hasn't had a lot of "practice" sleeping in). Once she woke up we headed over to Auntie Shannon's house for dinner. Pasta bake was on the menu and Audrey loved it. She probably ate the most in that sitting than any other. Yummy! She did, however, refuse her last bottle (she didn't even want an ounce), but she slept all night without a peep, so I guess she didn't need it! Audrey played with her cousins (five girls!) and had a blast. It was so sweet watching her play with new toys and new friends. My three year old niece, Emily, was so excited to see Audrey. But, had a bit of a hard time with sharing her toys. :) Something to look forward to when Audrey is a toddler!

One last little story about our week: my mom discovered this week that Audrey mimics pat-a-cake (even when you just sing it, she'll go throw the motions). It is A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E. I am trying to get it on video, because it would be so fun to share. Fingers crossed!
